DESCRIPTION

Arrive Friday evening and step into a unique collaborative retreat experience, where we gather with the core leaders of the upcoming Yoga Teacher Training (YTT) to shape and refine the course launching this September. This is an opportunity to meet Heather Anderson and Lezanne Swart, two highly experienced yoga teacher trainers with over 30 years of combined expertise, who are working closely with local teachers and practitioners to ensure the training is deeply relevant, practical, and transformative. Whether you choose a top-end sea-view suite or a simple, cozy dormitory, you’ll be welcomed into an inspiring learning environment. The weekend opens with a talk on the 8 Limbs of Yoga, an evening of yin yoga & meditation, and time to connect over a nourishing plant-based meal before winding down in the hot tub, sauna, or fireside gathering.

Throughout the weekend, we will engage in deep discussions, workshops, and practical sessions designed to sharpen the structure and delivery of the YTT, ensuring that it meets the highest standards of excellence. Mornings begin with meditation, yoga practice, and hands-on alignment sessions, followed by talks on yoga philosophy, anatomy, and the business of running international retreats. Expect contributions from industry leaders, including insights on yoga in healthcare, retreat entrepreneurship, and Ayurvedic nutrition with live cooking demonstrations. This is more than just a retreat—it’s a high-value educational experience, a chance to help co-create a leading-edge teacher training program, and an opportunity to deepen your own practice alongside some of the most respected names in the field. We close on Sunday with a final discussion and sharing circle, though those staying an extra night can enjoy an intimate fireside gathering, meditation, and supper, leaving fully inspired and ready to step into the next stage of their yoga journey.
