SUMMARY

Join us for a weekend of Dhamma practice and exploration of regenerative, consciousness-driven projects at Green Campus Delta. We are in conversation with PGA Award-winning filmmaker Guy Reid (TBC), who may join us to open the weekend with a screening of his film We Are Planetary on Friday night — a contemplative reflection on humanity’s relationship with nature, Indigenous wisdom, and scientific approaches to inner transformation. If confirmed, Guy will also share about his work with The Eden Project and Green Campus in the creation of ceremonial spaces and eco-community regeneration.

Throughout the weekend, we will offer a steady rhythm of meditation, yoga with Georgia Pine, nourishing plant-based food by Chef Chris Nelson, and time in nature, hot tubs, and sauna. On Sunday, we’ll hold Investment Circles, where Charles Fraser and others will present Dhamma-aligned initiatives such as Myco Fertilisers, Toroidal Propellers, Ecosystem Restoration Camps, and visionary temples — weaving the contemplative, scientific, and artistic realms into real-world impact.

This weekend is a space for insight, embodiment, and collaborative regeneration — a retreat that nurtures both inner clarity and outer action. 🌍✨

WHAT TO BRING

Seasonal information

The winter months have the sun rising and setting in the sea in front of the house and while it can be a roaring storm outside, the triple-glazed south-facing glass walls make the greatest light show of the sun rolling across the vast horizon through the silver clouds and over the wild seas.

Having the Hottun and Sauna means that we spend a lot of time in our swimwear even in the winter and when the sun is out the rooms all need windows open because they cook! At night we stay cozy by the fires but they are a luxury, the building has underfloor heating in every room that can be controlled in each room. There is an air source heat pump that makes the building incredibly economical to heat so it stays pretty toasty while people are here.

Even if it is pouring outside awnings are covering the walks between the yoga studio, the main house (where participants stay), and even the staff cottage at the end of the drive where the course leaders stay.

It's much quieter in winter than summer which is a relief as hundreds of thousands of people come down to the beach and it can make traffic unbearable unless you know the back routes.

Weather information

You need layers! Warm layers so you can go from your fit kit in the yoga studio to something that you would be happy to walk in the wind along the beach. Jumpers, windbreaks, wooly hats, gloves if you get cold, welly boots. We have bathroom and beach towells, hand and face towells and will replenish these at good interval but do recommend that people bring dressing gowns and slippers as these tend to all get pinched when we supply them!

Tips for responsible tourism and respecting local culture

We need to keep noise levels down here in the week as it is a residence but if we are respectful to the community they are very respectful of us and it is a polite area, not snooty, just people expect good manners and are very polite in general.
